I’m not here to bash technology or where it’s brought us in the business world, but there is still nothing like an old fashioned snail mail card to catch someone’s attention!
In the high-tech business world of today we are bombarded with MORE contact and solicitation from others than ever before! It’s almost as if we’re on people & product over load. Because of this, people today are setting up fire walls for everything they do. Don’t believe me?
*Do you read all emails you receive before deleting them?
*Do you look at your caller id before answering the phone?
*Do you open all of the mail you get that is bulk or meter mail stamped?
*Do you use DVR or Tivo for your favorite shows & zoom through commercials?
*Do you know who your neighbors are?
Why would Greeting Cards be different?
Well… think about the last time you went to your mailbox. What did your mail look like? Did it consist of only bills, junk mail or solicitations? Did you get a card from someone you like, know and trust? If you got a card in the mail wouldn’t you open it just for the curiosity factor? To see what they said and why they sent it to you?
